the splash pad for kids is great for young kids 3. Rooms service was always early & on time, great job cleaning the room 2. I brought my two young children for this trip, everyone was very friendly to the baby. My experience with all staff members on site was positive. We immediately changed clothes and went to the buffet. After check in, we were shuttled (with luggage) to the room. The luggage situation was handled very well. A+ to the resort for accommodating me for this. One of the rooms was readily available upon my arrival (which was earlier than the typical check in time). I was able to request items and check in time. The Marriot Chat was available the day prior to check in. She acknowledged my Platinum status with Marriott. Our check in representative was very knowledgeable & friendly. Upon check in, we were greeted by the hotel with drinks and check in process was smooth. If you can afford this resort then you can afford to drop a few dollars!…Ĭame here for a family event, large group of 30+ people. please tip the employees! I saw so many people stand up from tables and not tip. I’d go back, they just have to retrain their staff. There’s a waitress named Donna at the buffet, she’s so kind! She’s a mom of 5 and a grandma so she knows how to make a mom smile. The beach is beautiful and water so clear! The grill near the pool was only opened twice in my 5 day stay. I had to ask for washcloths twice which was odd because they restocked towels and hand towels. So 95% of the employees are amazing and the other 5% doesn’t overshadow the stay. The buffet is really good though and makes up for it - i mean oxtail at a buffet! You know how much oxtail costs?! An employee did make a comment that my 7 month old was too old to be breastfed and if my baby wasn’t sleeping in my arms, that interaction would have ended differently. Best food I’ve ever had at a resort but half of the restaurants were closed due to a fire. Donna walks in and says she could put us in a double bed room rather than our king sized one, I declined but she was just trying to fix my anger from Kimberly’s attitude. I asked for an estimate and she said she couldn’t help with that either. I was traveling with my husband, 2.5 year old son, and 7 month old daughter so of course we were ready to head to our room but when I asked when our room would be ready, a nasty employee named Kimberly shrugged and said she didn’t know. Went back at 2:49 and that’s when things took a turn. Upon arrival it’s beautiful! We got there around 1 and check in isn’t until 3 so Donna told us to go eat until our room was done being sanitized.
